Republic Services (Sunrise Sanitation, Inc.) has a sweetheart deal with our city. They get to charge us for trash service, then pocket millions while paying Stockton workers poverty wages.

Our waste disposal fees are funding corporate greed, not community services.

While Republic’s executives count their millions, they’re offering the workers who actually do the job a pathetic 30¢ raise. 

These corporate parasites think they can:

• Use our mandatory fees to enrich shareholders
• Pay poverty wages and deny workers healthcare
• Hold our communities hostage during their war on workers

Enough! Call Republic Services now and tell them:

“I pay for waste service that you profit from through our city contract. Stop using my fees to exploit workers. Settle fairly or we will demand City Council end your agreement and bring these services back under public control.”

It is time to end privatization that enriches corporations while crushing workers.
