Fight the Fear Canvassing Event

What to Expect:

Join us for a community canvassing effort to support our immigrant neighbors and coworkers and share "Know Your Rights" resources. We'll gather at the above location to prepare, provide materials and scripts, then carpool together to local neighborhoods. After canvassing, we'll return to debrief and discuss our experiences.

What We Will Be Doing:

• Going door-to-door in Spanish-speaking neighborhoods
• Sharing essential "Know Your Rights" information
• Building solidarity and reducing fear in our community

What We Will Provide:

• Scripts and talking points for conversations
• Flyers and educational materials
• Carpooling to canvassing locations
• Partner/buddy system - no one goes alone!

What to Bring:

• Water bottle
• Comfortable walking shoes

Important:

Everyone will be partnered up with someone - you won't be canvassing alone. Both English and Spanish speakers are needed and welcome. No experience necessary. We will train you before heading out!
